Emotional Literacy

We assume that emotional literacy is a natural skill we develop as we mature and grow. Yet sometimes our emotional growth is contaminated owing to our experiences in childhood. These workshops give us the chance to explore some of the effective and ineffective habits we have learnt.

We will show you how to:

  • Learn new ways of living with and managing emotions as they arise in the here-and now.

  • Use your anger as a way of recognizing that something needs your attention.

  • See your sadness as a way of recognizing & integrating your hurts.

  • Sense your scare as a recognition of your growth needs.

  • Allow yourself to fully have fun and enjoy your joy!

We will teach and demonstrate some important new information about core emotions, behaviour and your body, using various methods such as Neuro-linguistic Programming, Transactional Analysis, Qigong, Breath work, Group Dynamics and Visualisation.  We will help you to explore your emotions through experiential exercises and teach you strategies for expressing yourself creatively and healthily.
